The EBM calendar is an environmental education project produced in partnership by the team of the Biological Station of Mértola, the Grupo do Risco, and the Casa das Artes Mário Elias (CMM). Each year, a theme related to the biodiversity of the Vale do Guadiana Natural Park is selected. The team of associated researchers from EBM produces the scientific content, which is complemented by illustrations created by the collective of illustrators from the Grupo do Risco. The result is a publication of high aesthetic and scientific quality, presented in a clear and accessible language for various types of audiences.
